École d’été internationale « LH, Port of the Future »

Embarquez pour un voyage dans le Port du Futur, avec la première École d’été internationale au Havre !

Le 4 juillet 2025, les Tall Ships Races prendront leur départ du Havre, lançant ainsi un périple maritime unique à travers la Manche et la mer du Nord. Ce moment marquera non seulement un événement maritime d’envergure, mais aussi une belle opportunité pour mettre en lumière Le Havre, ville au passé maritime remarquable, qui constitue le cadre idéal pour accueillir une École d’été internationale.

L’École d’été internationale « LH, Port of the Future » couvrira des thèmes essentiels pour l’évolution des villes portuaires et leur développement durable :

• ports intelligents : transformation numérique des systèmes portuaires
• ports durables : stratégies environnementales et résilience climatique
• synergie Port-Cité : urbanisme et développement portuaire
• ingénierie innovante : construire des infrastructures portuaires résilientes
• politique et gouvernance : façonner l’avenir des ports
• géographie maritime : le rôle du Havre dans le commerce mondial
• modernisme et mémoire : l’architecture d’après-guerre du Havre
• intensif en français : expérience immersive en langue

Public :

L’école d’été internationale « LH, Port of the Future » s’adresse aux étudiants de premier cycle intéressés par la planification maritime et urbaine, le développement des villes portuaires, la durabilité et l’innovation.

Frais de participation : 

Pour cette première édition, l’école d’été internationale « LH, Port of the Future » est gratuite pour les étudiants, les frais de scolarité étant pris en charge par le Campus Polytechnique des Territoires Maritimes et Portuaires.

Le programme couvrira les frais de scolarité, les matériaux pédagogiques, l’hébergement (du 30.06.2025 au 05.07.2025), les déjeuners, ainsi que les activités liées au programme.

Les frais de voyage, l’assurance et les frais administratifs sont à la charge des participants.

Inscription :

Les candidats intéressés doivent passer par un processus de sélection.
Période de candidature : Du 07.03.2025 au 30.04.2025.
Notification d’acceptation : Les candidats seront informés par mail avant le 05.05.2025.

Pour postuler, les candidats doivent envoyer un e-mail à summerschool@univ-lehavre.fr, en incluant :

• une lettre de motivation en anglais, expliquant leur intérêt pour le programme, en quoi il correspond à leurs objectifs académiques et les bénéfices pour leurs études.
• un Curriculum Vitae (CV).
• une copie du passeport ou de la carte nationale d’identité.
• un certificat d’inscription ou une copie de votre carte étudiante de votre établissement d’origine pour l’année académique en cours.

Embark on a journey into the Port of the Future, with our first International Summer School at Le Havre

On July 4th, 2025, the Tall Ships Races 2025 will set sail from Le Havre, marking the beginning of a remarkable maritime journey through the English Channel and North Sea.

With its rich maritime history, Le Havre offers the perfect setting for an International Summer School.

As the maritime industry confronts new challenges, our Polytechnic Campus for Maritimes and Port Territories invites students from around the world to explore how ports can evolve—adapting to contemporary needs while preserving their heritage and embracing sustainability and technological innovation.

Target Audience

Our International Summer School “LH, Port of the Future” is for Undergraduate Students interested in maritime and urban planning,  port city development, sustainability, and innovation.

Cost and Payment

To launch this first edition, our International Summer School “LH, Port of the Future” is free of charge for students, with tuition fees covered by the Campus Polytechnique des Territoires Maritimes et Portuaires

The programme covers tuition fees, teaching materials, accommodation (from 30.06.2025 to 05.07.2025), lunches, as well as programme-related activities.

Travel expenses, insurance, and administrative fees are the responsibility of participants.

Registration

In order to participate to our International Summer School, candidates must undergo a selection process.

• Application Period: Open from 07.03.2025 to 30.04.2025
• Notification of Acceptance: Applicants will be notified by 05.05.2025.
